Local chef, Darrin Aslin, brings a taste of Italy to the heart of the Shire…
La Cucina offers a delicious brunch menu, and an extensive dinner menu ranging from traditional pastas through to steak and seafood. You can dine in at our Gymea restaurant, or order from our take away service. We also cater for parties and group functions.
We offer a Weekly Menu Special of 3 Courses for $62 or 2 Courses for $52.
La Cucina Gymea is a fully licensed restaurant. You are welcome to bring your own bottled wine with a small corkage charge.

House-Made Lasagne
House made lasagne with a traditional beef and pork ragu and three cheese sauce.

Rolled pork belly served with mash, brocollini, tomato jam and aioli.

"La Cucina Gymea - you never EVER fail to deliver delicious food, supreme service and value for money. This Restaurant is hands down the place to go for an intimate meal for two or a group booking. The staff are always friendly and know how to serve their customers with the upmost attention they deserve. The food is seriously amazing (go chefs!). I have been numerous times before and will continue to return because I know, even before I go, that it's going to be a very enjoyable experience!
